About Spark Rentals - Ice Cycles:
The plan to launch Ice Cycles was created on a cold, dark, January night during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sinan Leylek, having previously loved his experience riding an ice bike in China 6 years ago, was struggling to think of activities that could be done safely in a time when gathering indoors was prohibited. The thought of his previous ice bike experience became an epiphany. Why does Winnipeg, a city lauded in recent years for embracing itself as a winter city, not have these unique winter ice bikes? Faced with a plummeting demand for his existing event rental business amid health restrictions, it became the perfect opportunity to pivot his time to not only bring these ice bikes to Winnipeg, but North America over. The concept of an ice bike is something that while suited for a physically distant outdoor environment, would certainly be popular beyond the health crisis.
