Where can I rent Ice Bikes?

At Ice Cycles, we plan to be in different locations throughout the winter. Our booking page will constantly be updated with our current location(s). 

How can I rent an Ice Cycles ice bike?

You can rent online! We accept pre-bookings up to 12 hours in advance. We also do walk-up rentals as long as there are ice bikes available to rent at that time. For group or corporate rates, you can reach out to us directly at: [email protected]

What’s required to book?

To book online, you need a valid credit card. When you come to pick up your rental, make sure to have proof of booking available. 
What do I do if there aren't rentals available on a day I want to book? If there is no option to book on a certain day and you have a group interested in renting, please reach out to us at: [email protected]

What if I’m late to pick up my rental? 

It’s best to arrive roughly 5 minutes before your booking. In the event that something comes up and you’re running late, we will still keep your rental ready for you. Once you arrive, you can take out your Ice Cycles, but your rental time block will still be the same and late fees will apply should you return past your hour rental slot.

What happens if I return the bikes late?
Returning your ice bikes at the top of the hour, as per your reserved one hour rental slot, ensures that the next group has their bikes ready for them for their reservation. If you're running late, it's best to call us at 204-292-6718 to see if you can extend your rental at a reduced rate of $5/15min, otherwise the following charges will apply if you return 5 minutes or later:
$5 late fee +
- $1/min single bikes
- $2/min tandem bikes

What is our cancellation policy?

Bookings are non refundable, but we do allow rebooking in case you aren’t able to make your reservation. You have up to 24 hours before your booking to reschedule, with a 25% rebooking charge. If the forecast for your rental day is colder than -25 degrees celsius then the rebooking charge will be waived.

What if it’s my first time riding an Ice Bike?

​You’re in luck! Ice Bikes are extremely easy to ride and are very safe. The way they are designed makes them very stable, allowing you to get out on the ice without any worry!

Do you have group rates?

We can accommodate special dates & locations for groups larger than 7 people. Suggest a date and location and we can let you know if it works with us! Our group rates include a $5 discount off our standard prices, plus we waive the 6% booking charge .

What is your group rate cancellation policy?

While your reservation is non refundable, we can reschedule your outing for no additional fee if we're advised 72 hours prior to your scheduled event. Between 72-24 hours there is a 25% rebooking charge, and under 24 hours there is a 50% rebooking charge.

How old do you have to be?

Age ranges for Ice Cycles can vary depending on if someone is looking to be a passenger (Classic or Tandem) or to actually ride the bike.
