Do you deliver?
Yes we do! Delivery starts at $25 each way inside city of Winnipeg limits. We offer rental deliveries to other provinces and to the USA on certain products. Rental and delivery prices vary. Contact us for more information.
Peak Season Delivery Charge (June-September):

Delivery Fees (Does not include dance floors, staging, or third party equipment):
- $25 – Discounted delivery (each way) (For extra small or short deliveries)
- $50 - Base Delivery (each way)
- $75 – After hours delivery (each way) *weekends & before 9am and after 7pm
- +$25 – Specific time delivery fee (each way) *For time windows under 4 hours
- $25 - $50 – Peak season delivery fee *June-September
- +$25-50 – up to 11:00 event finish
- +$50-100 – up to 12:00am event finish
- +$75-150 – up to 1:00am event finish
- +$25 – from 8:00am arrival time
- +$50 – up to 7:00am arrival time
- +$75 – up to 6:00am arrival time
Installation & Pack-up Fees:
Set-up Fee - 15% of total base rate of rentals (20% for AV equipment)
Pack-up Fee - 10% of total base rate of rentals
Priority Third Party Delivery - $100 Required for delivery of third party items outside week day business hours and/or outside city limits. This is required as our vendor partner does not provide weekend delivery. To eliminate this charge we'd need to be able to have this delivered and picked up during the week.
Weekend Third Party - $50 Required to store equipment until third party vendor opens following day. To eliminate this charge we'd need to pick-up the equipment by 4pm Friday, or between 9-4pm Saturday.
Third Party Truck Charge - $75 Required for delivery of third party items outside week day business hours and/or outside city limits that require a truck. This is required as our vendor partner does not provide weekend delivery. To eliminate this charge we'd need to be able to have this delivered and picked up during the week.
Are there other services?
- Off-peak and urgent rentals may be subject to a $15-50 surcharge.
- Early Thursday pick-up and late return have a flat $20 surcharge.
Extended Rental Rates?
Yes, our rentals can be extended, with prices based upon the posted rental price online.
Up to 6 days: Add $20
1 week - 12 days: 1.5 times the rental price
2 weeks - 19 days: 2 times the rental price
3 weeks - 1 month: 2.5 times the rental price
What are your cancellation Fees?
25% once deposit is received
50% less than two weeks prior to rental period
60% less than one week prior to rental period
100% less than 48 hours w/h 20% held as rental credit
Damage Waiver?
We offer a basic damage waiver that speeds up your rental pick-up and return process and saves you from any minor repair costs.
Opting in covers $100 worth of repairs for any damage, including cosmetic, such as cracked casings or bent cords. The Damage Waiver carries a cost of 8% (10% dance floors, 15% staging) and is automatically calculated into the rental invoice, it is not refundable.
The Damage Waiver does not apply to A) Stolen, Lost or Missing equipment. B)Customer Negligence, Misuse or Abuse of equipment.

Do you offer insurance on the equipment?
Equipment liability is on the behalf of whomever the invoice is addressed to. If you'd like to have insurance on your rental items, we suggest using a third party insurance supplier, such as PAL Insurance Brokers.
How can I pay?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express on orders under $400. to earn an extra 5% back with Spark Rewards, use e-transfer, cash or cheque.
How do our rentals work?
See our order page for reservation options. A 25% non-refundable reservation deposit is required for non Spark Rewards members after we confirm the equipment for your order is available. Last minute rentals are also available.
I've received a rental confirmation e-mail, now what?
After we have confirmed your reservation request, you can ensure that your order will be ready for you on the date you have provided. We will follow up with you a coupled days before your scheduled pick-up or delivery date to confirm any additional details.
What does flexible return date mean?
All of our rentals include a two day (48 hour) rental period. However, we understand you're organizing an event and we want to be flexible to give you the chance to perhaps test the equipment before hand, not have to stress about returning the equipment the day after your event, and who knows, maybe even throw an after party! For Spark Rewards members, if you need some extra time with your rental beyond the 48 hours, let us know. We can't guarantee there's no one else waiting for your rental after you, but if there isn't, we'd be happy to give you up to 6 days with the equipment for only a flat $20 extension charge for your entire order.
What else do I need to reserve the equipment?
If you aren't a Spark Rewards member, we require a deposit to confirm your reservation in the amount of 25% of your order. For orders requesting delivery, the delivery fees indicated on the invoice is due one week before delivery. The deposit will be applied towards your order, with the balance to be payable upon receipt of the equipment.
A credit card or drivers’ license is required for all bookings and provided at time of reservation.
Is the equipment difficult to set up?
Most of our equipment is 'plug & play' and user friendly. If you feel like you'd be more comfortable with us setting up the equipment, we offer installation & retrieval services. Otherwise, if you're having difficulty with any of our equipment, give us a call anytime and if you miss us, we'll get back to you ASAP.
When & where can I pick up the equipment?
Our storefront is located at 583 Selkirk Ave, with paid parking and a free loading space in front. It is advised to schedule a pick-up and drop off time if one has not already been arranged.
Do you offer social prizes?
We are able to donate a social prize of 25% of any equipment rental for either your social and/or wedding, up to $250!
Are there other fees or minimums?
Last minute orders, including those needed day of during the weekend, require a minimum $40 rental. A $25 deposit will be required to be prepaid, and will be lost if you miss your pick-up appointment by over 30 minutes.
Is there a damage deposit?
Yes, we require a damage deposit or credit card pre-authorization prior to releasing the equipment in an amount of $50 when the estimated value of the replacement cost of the equipment is up to $500, $100 for up to $1,000, and $250, for $2,000.
What other fees or rules do I need to know?
We like to offer a seamless rental process for you, and as long as you communicate with us any problems you might be having, you shouldn't have anything else to worry about. For late and damage fees, among other terms, see our Rental Agreement.
Does the fog set off the smoke detector?
Some smoke detectors detect fog, others do not. If you're intending to use it in a public space, it's advised to check with the venue manager ahead of time.
Is the fog harmful to inhale?
While the fog fluid is water based, some people such as those with asthma may find it difficult to breathe in. If anyone is having troubles with the fog, they can leave the area/room and should be fine after getting fresh air. Here is the MSDS from the fog fluid we use.
